Nigeria: General Sani Abacha victim of Viagra.


Died June 8, 1998 officially of a heart attack, President Sani Abacha died of viagra the newspaper Newswatch, taken by the Sunday Times of London.
         General Sani Abacha (54), President of Nigeria enjoyed the company of prostitutes. He was seized with convulsions while he was in bed with two women. One of them came out screaming.
         The heart of the Nigerian dictator would not have endured the antics a bit too energetic to whom he had engaged after taking a "miracle pill".
         Another hypothesis is that he was poisoned by his entourage with a pill of Viagra "doctored".
         His widow Mariam Abacha "believes that her husband was killed by his best friends"
told the magazine Newswatch.
         After taking power in November 1993, he abolished all democratic institutions and replaced many civilian officials with military leaders.
         On 10 November 1995, his government had condemned the public hanging of writer Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight other Ogoni leaders of the community in the Niger Delta. This act denounced internationally led to the diplomatic isolation of Nigeria.
         As the country sank into poverty and corruption, Abacha had turned in five years more than 1.7 billion U.S. dollars.
         General Abdulsalami Abubakar who succeeded him handed over power to President Olusegun Obasanjo, elected democratically in 1999.
