Bulgaria's annual sales girls to marry

In the village of Mogila in Bulgaria, is held annually on the first day after the start of Lent in the Orthodox Easter, a traditional outdoor market for the sale of daughters to marry.
In 2009, the market attracted more than 2,000 people. Thousands of Roma girls (Travellers) marched with their best clothes and jewelry to attract "potential husbands".
This market allows adolescents to find a husband, preferably one who wants to pay an amount comfortable to acquire his future wife.
"We take our daughters to this gathering like this, they can make contacts with boys, because they have no right to go into a nightclub,"
said Elena, a mother. In this market, a pretty young woman can break away from several thousand euros.
