Jordan: King Abdullah II disguised as impotent to go incognito.

In May 2009, wearing a black dishdasha (a long garment that reaches to the ankles), the head under a red and white kaffiyeh (the traditional headdress of peasants and Bedouins) and leaning on a cane, HM Abdullah II of Jordan (49) mingled with patients in order to judge the quality of services provided in a public hospital, reports the AFP correspondent.

He was recognized by several people, but could still be aware of the atmosphere in medical facilities.

As did his father Hussein, he sometimes pretends to be a taxi driver or an old man to know the mood of his subjects.
