Mexico / Vatican: A gang of drug traffickers to protect the Pope.

In March 2012, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI is about to make a papal visit to the country the most Catholic of Central America: Mexico.
Many Mexicans are very excited about receiving the pontiff especially now when we talk about the end of the world predicted by the Mayan calendar. Calendar placing Mexico in the heart of the end of the world predicted for December 21, 2012.
For Knowing that Benedict XVI, the 111th and the penultimate pope from the list of Malachi, one understands why it takes this prediction of the end of the world very seriously.

The Archbishop of Leon and the “Knights Templar”.

In February 2012, Archbishop Jose Martin Rabago, Archbishop of Leon has called on drug cartels by asking them a truce for the duration of the papal visit in the state of Guanajuato from 23 to 26 March.
The message was received loud because the cartel Templar has responded positively by deploying eleven banners in major cities of the state of Guanajuato in central Mexico to announce that its members accept the truce if their enemies, belonging to the cartel the Guena Nueva, did so.
Despite this reaction which was to celebrate the state authorities, the truce demanded by Archbishop Jose Martin Rabago did not at all pleased the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Christophe Pierre said that the Church does not deal with criminals, but required them a change of attitude and mentality.

A unilateral truce which could degenerate.

Especially since the gang of the Knights Templar has expressed its intention to maintain order during the pontiff in Mexico.
"We want peace in Guanajuato, so do not you dare provoke violence with the arrival of His Holiness Benedict XVI. You have been warned," could be read on one of the messages told AFP a police commander who requested anonymity.
Asked about these warnings, the Interior Minister, Alejandro Poire, said at a press conference: "At Guanajuato security will be provided based on the rule of law."
Like what, you can be both a drug dealer, murderer and a practicing Catholic. This is precisely be Mexican. For the Catholic faith plays a major role in the life of every Mexican.
Benedict XVI could not miss the 200th anniversary of independence of the Americas and especially the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Empress of the Americas before making a historic visit to Cuba to honor the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, about 15 Km from Santiago.
