Welcome to the
Syrians refugees ... but only Christians.
In Slovakia, we are willing to receive Syrians ... but provided that they are Christians.
"We have proposed to the European Commission to host 200 Syrian Christians because
Slovakia is a
Christian country, and if you want to integrate people, religion and culture must be similar," said on August 10, 2015, the Slovak Prime
Minister Robert Fico to the Austrian daily "Der Standard".
"Slovakia is a Christian country forever, we can not accept an arrival of 300,000 or 400,000
Muslim migrants who would build mosques all
over the country and attempt
to change the nature and values of our state," he added.
After
viewing in July 2015, the French pseudo-historical series "Inquisitio" created by Nicolas
Cuche and Lionel Pasquier
in 2012 (which has shocked more than a Catholic
in France), which distorts the
life of St. Catherine of Siena born Catarina Benincasa
(1347-1380), canonized in 1461, declared a doctor
of the Church in 1970 by Pope
Paul IV and proclaimed
saint co-patron of Europa by Pope
John Paul II in 2000.
Despite
the public apology of the same pope to the Inquisition, the series turns black extensively this sad period of history in France, one can not be surprised by the
arson of a mosque in Auch (Gers) in August 24, 2015 two weeks
after the attack with Molotov
cocktails on that of Mélignac
(Loire-Atlantique).
France: Social
Peace with the Largest Muslim Community in Europe
France, which
saw the largest Muslim
community in Europe, with some
five million members, has
experienced anti-Muslim acts and
274 threats in
the first half of 2015, announced
the National Observatory against Islamophobia (O.N.C.I.) on July 17, 2015. A figure
up 281% compared to the same period
last year, in which 72 anti-Muslim acts
were listed.
In the neigboring Belgium, the reports from the racism M.R.A.X. (Movement against racism, antisemitism and xenophobia) increased considerably between 2014 and 2015. Most of the files relates to anti-Arab and Islamophobic acts, said the newspaper Le Soir, which was able to consult the latest figures from M.R.A.X..
Comparing the figures for the first half of 2014, than in the first half of 2015, a significant increase in reports is observed: they spend 55 to 125. There was a significant increase in the number of Islamophobic foundation records (from 11-39 ), but also anti-Arab (21 to 33). According to Xavier Carlos Crespo, president of M.R.A.X., people are "hysterical when we talk about something related to Islam."
How not understand Slovakia, this young republic that is afraid of Islamophobia and desperate to preserve the social peace?

"We are afraid
of the unknown"
This fear is it based
on a threat thinly veiled Houari
Boumedienne (1932-1978), then President of Algeria who hated Europe and
especially France, predicted in
1974: "One day millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go in 'northern
hemisphere. And they will not go
there to conquer it. And they will conquer with
their son. The innards of our women will give us victory. "?
You should know that Slovakia has only very few foreigners (1.4% of the population in 2014), originating mostly from neighboring countries, including Ukraine. And has granted asylum only 14 people in 2014. Immigration had never been a subject of political debate or even conversation.
Logically, the country had therefore refused the quotas of migrants (according to calculations by the European Commission, it should have been since 1.100 accommodate its population, gross domestic product and the unemployment rate).
At Gabcikovo, a pretty little town located 60 km south of the capital, the premises are headwind. It is here that must be hosted 500 asylum seekers and neighboring Austria, overwhelmed by the influx of migrants, will confide in Slovakia under an agreement in Vienna on July 21, 2015.
Among them will
certainly find the 200 selected Christians. "The villagers are not opposed
to the idea of helping others, as they have proven in the past, explains the
mayor Iván Fenes, in reference to the Yugoslav refugees hosted during the
Balkan war. But we are afraid of the unknown, fear not sleep at night
peacefully without knowing lurking around our homes. " The village has even
organized a referendum to find out who was in favor of opening a refugee center
in the town. The voters voted no to 97%..”Without work, they roam all day in
town!", Zoltan Jakus fears, the organizer
of the local referendum.
On Slovak land,
migrants are definitely not welcome. Whatever their religion.
According to the High Commissioner for Refugees (U.N.H.C.R.), the 2 million Syrian refugees are now divided: Lebanon by itself welcomed 718,000 people, Jordan, border country hosted 515,000 inhabitants, Egypt, formerly associated with Syria in the short-lived United Arab Republic hosted 110,000 refugees, Turkey, predominantly Muslim country, 460,000 people, countries at war Iraq, 168.000 inhabitants.
The European Union has granted legal protection to 18,700 Syrian refugees, Germany hosted 8,400 and would like to host another 5,000 in the next two years, followed by Sweden, which hosted 5,000 refugees and is willing to accept another 500, the Finland and Austria: 500 each. France is directly or indirectly involved in the conflict accepted only 200 asylum seekers in 2011, 700 in 2012, 800 in 2013.
Country forehead, Bulgaria hosts 4,000 asylum seekers and Italy has seen landing on its shores more than 4,600 people. Cyprus, Malta and Greece are under pressure.
Before the civil war in Syria, it had 23 million inhabitants.

and Austria to the west, Poland
